Good Morning Vietnam brings fast-paced aerial combat to the Atari 2600, placing you in the cockpit of a rescue helicopter on a dangerous mission deep inside enemy territory.

Your objective is clear: locate and rescue American prisoners of war. But the enemy has already learned of the mission and is prepared to stop you at any cost. Anti-aircraft tanks patrol the streets below, firing missiles toward your helicopter as you fly through narrow city corridors filled with buildings and obstacles.

Piloting your helicopter requires quick reflexes and precise control. Maneuver carefully through the urban battlefield while avoiding the structures that line the streets. One wrong move and your helicopter could collide with a building, ending the mission.

Enemy tanks continuously launch missiles in an effort to bring you down. Flying low to the streets allows you to target and destroy them, clearing the way for the rescue operation to continue. On higher difficulty levels, holding down the fire button releases a powerful bomb capable of destroying heavily armored enemy tanks.

Each successful encounter pushes the mission forward, sending you into increasingly dangerous combat zones where enemies grow stronger and the challenge intensifies. Only the most skilled pilots will survive long enough to complete the mission and bring the prisoners home.

Controls
