A mysterious tower has appeared in the village of Heijō-kyō, and something evil has crossed into the world of the living.

For forty years, the strange tower has served as a gateway between the spirit realm and our own, drawing supernatural creatures from Japanese folklore into its dark chambers. Villagers have vanished, innocent souls have become trapped inside, and now only one man dares enter.

You are Haruto Kenji, a Yokai hunter descended from generations of hunters sworn to battle the supernatural.

Enter the Tower of Death and explore its dangerous rooms as you battle demons, overcome deadly challenges, collect keys, and climb deeper into the mysterious structure. Each supernatural enemy presents its own threat, and brute force alone will not always be enough. Learn how to defeat the creatures standing in your path and continue your ascent.

Rescue the souls imprisoned within the tower and confront the powerful creature controlling it. Only by defeating the tower's lord can Haruto banish the Tower of Death from the world of the living and restore peace to Heijō-kyō.
