This is a budget pack game which comes in a smaller box with cartridge only.

You remember Goober, right? Charming little alien. Saved his planet. Dodged some asteroids. Probably let the fame go to his head.

Well, unfortunately, Goober has an evil twin.

Meet Noober.

Noober looks suspiciously familiar, but unlike his lovable brother, he's decided to dedicate his life to causing chaos and generally being an interplanetary nuisance. Someone has to stop him.

That someone is Snipy, a fully sentient sniper who apparently exists in a universe where nobody thought that required further explanation.

In Snipe, you take control of Snipy on a mission to put an end to Noober's reign of annoyance. Use the joystick to move, line up your shot, and press FIRE to blast the troublesome alien. Land enough hits and you'll fill the meters at the top of the screen.

Then Noober gets faster.

Because apparently being shot repeatedly is excellent cardio.

The better you play, the harder Noober becomes to hit. What begins as a simple shooting gallery quickly turns into a frantic battle between your reflexes, your aim, and a tiny alien who has absolutely no intention of standing still long enough for you to feel good about yourself.

Simple controls. Increasing speed. Relentless score-chasing action. Snipe is another deceptively simple Atari 2600 challenge designed to answer one important question:

How good is your aim?

Probably not as good as you think.

Noober is counting on it.
